According to Tesla's official Vehicle Limited Warranty, adding third-party accessories, including Screenmate One, doesn't void the overall warranty. Q:
I have other aftermarket devices installed in my Tesla. Will they interfere with Screenmate One?
A:
No, you can continue using any other third-part devices.
Q:
Where can I choose my Tesla model?

Q:
Is content playback possible while driving?
A:
Yes, passengers can watch content while the car is in motion. There are no specific regulations regarding the use of the center screen, and we’ve taken steps to comply with existing guidelines. When a passenger is watching content, they simply press the "I’m a passenger" button on the screen. However, it’s always a good idea to double-check local laws to ensure compliance.
Q:
Is there a way to easily bypass the Screenmate One device?
A:
You can do it through the screen, the mobile app, or the CAN bus. Screenmate One can also be reset like Tesla’s main computer by holding down the steering wheel scroll buttons. By default, it boots in bypass mode, showing Tesla’s native screen. If you need to completely disconnect the device, just reconnect the monitor cable to Tesla’s computer.

No, Tesla cannot block Screenmate One. The device operates independently of Tesla's software by switching the display input to its own system, bypassing Tesla's interface entirely.
